El Badia at Beldi Country Club

Overview

El Badia is the restaurant beside the swimming pools of the Beldi Country Club. The cooking is Moroccan and Mediterranean, served à la carte, and the menu follows the day's market and the seasons. Guests who are not staying at the hotel can come on a day pass. The pools next to the restaurant are heated in winter, and two of them are set aside for children. In winter the restaurant moves into a greenhouse or onto a terrace, facing a vegetable garden and fruit trees, with the Atlas Mountains in view. Around it lies the estate: a rose garden of twelve thousand plants, an organic vegetable garden, a cactus garden, a bamboo alley and water lily ponds, and every autumn the Beldi makes its own olive oil. A pétanque strip runs alongside the pool.
