Amanjena Spa

Overview

Amanjena Spa is the spa of Amanjena, Aman's resort just outside Marrakech, in an oasis of palm and olive trees with the High Atlas on the horizon. Two Moroccan style hammams sit in a quiet corner of the spa, heated and under a vaulted ceiling. The ritual is the Moroccan one: black soap, exfoliation with kiis mitts, and a cold eucalyptus shower, and one version begins on a heated marble slab. Half day and full day programmes pair a hammam, a massage and a facial with a wellness lunch in the olive grove, and the team adapts them on request. Beyond the treatment rooms, the fitness centre keeps cardio and weights on its lower level, while grand staircases lead to a mezzanine yoga space with a hardwood floor, natural light and a fireplace. There are two clay tennis courts, and a petanque court in the gardens.
