Overview

The Fairmont Royal Palm Marrakech spreads across 231 hectares of olive groves, with the Atlas Mountains as its backdrop. It is a resort in a Moroccan-inspired style, and bellmen meet guests at the entrance. There are 135 rooms, suites and villas. Deluxe Rooms measure 72 square metres, with marble bathrooms floored in beijmat and Le Labo amenities; the Prince Villas go further, with private gardens, pools and hammams. The main pool runs 100 metres in front of the hotel, with its own area for children, and L'Olivier serves Mediterranean lunches beside it; two semi-Olympic basins add more lengths elsewhere. The 3,500 square metre spa is laid out like a modern riad around an indoor pool kept for adults, plus a hair salon and a barber. The kitchens range wide: Italian cooking and homemade pasta at Capricci, Moroccan and Lebanese dishes under hand-painted ceilings at Al Aïn, and Le Bar, with its fireplace, brass counter, piano and Japanese plates. An 18-hole championship course crosses 75 hectares of the estate, and there are four clay tennis courts and two for padel.
